29th April 2004 Windsurfing: Poole Wind Direction: North Wind Stength: 10-15knts Surf / Sea State: Small Chop Air Temperature: 10 Sea Temperature: Cold! Weather: Showers Max Speed: Distance Covered: Had to pick up the newly repaired 8.0, so I thought what the hell and wnt for a sail as well. Wish I had stayed dry! Rigged the 6.5 with the Max2Air, just as the wind dropped, floundered around then rigged the 8.0 (good repair) thinking easy life. Forgot to tension any of the battons properly, so it was an absolute dog at first, then when I finally got it tuned nicly, the wind was so damn gusty that the sailing was horrible. Put on top of my clumsy style due to 2 hrs sleep the night before and no small hangover, I should have stayed at home...... |
